It is our goal to create our clients dreams by hand crafting the ultimate in Structural Integrity, Seaworthiness and Quality with the finest North American craftsmanship. I believe the best way to build a quality vessel is with a small group of highly skilled people, this will keep the wasted materials and man hours to a minimum.

It is my experience that most large boat building companies have a great deal of unnecessary cost built into the price of their products. This is passed onto the customer in various ways and the bottom line is less of the customers money goes into the vessel and more into overhead marketing and commissions

The History of Park Isle Marine Ltd.

Roy Parkinson who was born and raised on the waterfront in Victoria, B.C., founded Park Isle Marine Ltd. in 1987. In the early eighties Roy enrolled in a boat design & construction course to pursue a career with his "first love" boats. After successfully completing the course he served an apprenticeship with a premier Pacific North West Boat building company. For more than 38 years (since the age of two) Roy has spent his spare time boating in the Pacific North West, first with his Mother, Father & Brothers and now with his Wife & Children.

When Park Isle Marine first opened our doors the main stay of the business was restorations of classic mahogany runabouts and sailing vessels. The business then expanded into the repair and refit business and then into new construction as well. We are now in our fifteenth year and our focus is on new construction of the highest quality, structural integrity and seaworthiness.

With a life to date filled with boating and boat building there is virtually nothing in the construction process, which can slip past or go astray from the management of Park Isle. At any given point in the construction of a vessel we are open minded to new and progressive methods and materials, however we do know the old tried and true methods whatever the task at hand may be. The management team at Park Isle Marine is first and foremost boat builders, we also happen to be very good at recruiting and managing people.
